Johor Craft Festival 2015

Johor Craft Festival 2015 were held at the Angsana Mall till yesterday. The 5th edition of the annual event is to further promote Malaysian craft products to visitors, apart from locals. The area was HUGE and it took me nearly over an hour to go around the site. No wonder, a total of 300 entrepreneurs in various fields of handicrafts were participating! I enjoyed talking with some of the exhibitor and She said that keeping these tradition stay alive was extremely important for the next generation.　世代を越えて伝えられてきた技法や技をどうやって次世代へ伝えていくのか。。。
パラン（伝統的なナイフ）職人さんたちの高齢化も進んでるようでした。現代のニーズにマッチさせて商品化していく事が大事なんでしょうね。斬新なアイデアをコラボして世界へ発信しませんか〜？
