【Trendy cafe in Johor /ジョホールのオシャレなカフェ】

Follow the crowed to Jalan Dorhby, an old Johor down town where the past, present and future all exist together. There are quite number of new shops opening in this area recently, lighten up the vibrant atmosphere. Flowers in the window is one of newly opened cafe along Jalan Dhoby. A two story cafe with high ceiling and lots of hanging plants inside the shop, making you feel nice and cosy. As for menu, a variety of homemade cakes are one of must try items. My feedback is only if they can serve English tea because I can’t drink coffee…
ジョホール旧市街のJalan Dorbyの辺りを歩くのは楽しみ。特に最近新しいだけでなくトレンディなカフェ、レストランやアイスクリームショップまで出現して目を見張るばかり。観光客やローカル若年層のお客さんたちを引き寄せてるらしいです。特に週末この辺りで、ナイトマーケットが催されているらしく夜遅くまで賑わっているとか。そして、見つけた”Flowers in the window” 古いショップハウスを改装してここまでオシャレに変身させてしまうセンスに脱帽。店内の家具は統一性が無い。。のに、これがまた味を出してる。なんだか隠れ家的な落ち着ける場所間違いなし。あっ、紅茶をメニューに入れてーー！
