【Kota Tinggi Firefly Park コタティンギホタル鑑賞 】

It was an amazing natural show in a dark along the Sungei Johor. ( Johor River) while people often describe it as “Christmas trees” in a forest. Kota Tinggi Firefly Park is a boat ride that last about 45 minutes and it is worth a visit! The fireflies are enjoyed all year around however the best time is on a moonless night or during the new moon and they seem to be more active after the heavy rain. They are very sensitive to light and sound so neither of them are prohibited on a boat. It’s a pity that you can’t capture the magic show in a camera. According to the guide there, the number of fireflies are decreasing unfortunatly compared to 10 years ago. This must be a very important environmental issue for a local government especially in terms of tourism. To save the nature and to keep the tourist coming back, it is essential that each one of us is aware of what is happing around us❗️

コタティンギ、ジョホール川の船着場からボートに揺られること５分もしないようやく目が慣れてきた頃、白色蛍光ランプのような一つ一つの灯りがちらちら見え始めました。もっと進んでいくと見えた見えた〜〜！一つ一つは小さな灯りですが、それらが一本の木に何千何万と集まってチカチカとリズムをとっているかのように点滅している。。。真っ暗な闇のなかに浮かぶ、それらは正にクリスマスツリー‼︎　それらの幻想的な光景は、本当に一見の価値ありです。聞くところに寄るとホタルの数も減少傾向にるらしく、自然環境の保護・再生取り組みは必須でしょう。次世代にこの素晴らしい光景をバトンタッチしなければいけません❗️
