【Sultan Ismail Library———スルタンイスマイル図書館】

The first Sultan Ismail Library was opened in 1964 but it has moved to a now location, Jalan Datin Halimah, Larkin in 1988. The library, one of the oldest in town, spans three levels and holds varieties of languages which consists of English, Mandarin, Tamil and Malay. Free wifi is available once you became a member there. (RM7/year) It’s an old place though it is very quiet and peaceful especially in a morning.

以前から気になっていたこの建物。図書館と聞いてはいたが例の如くひとりでは心もとなく。。ローカルの友を連れてコテコテマレー語で詳細を聞いてもらった。つたない私のマレー語も使用する間もなくPachik(パチッ）は英語で返事をしてくれた。最新の雑誌も読める・見れるしwifiも使用可、PCとプリンターも有料で貸してくれます。ジョホール在住者なら誰でもメンバーになれるそうです。パスポートとそのコピー、顔写真持参ください。http://psi.elib.com.my/?lang=english
