飲食店や衣料品店はもちろん色々なお店やイベントでお揃いのTシャツやポロシャツを着ているマレーシア。 今回のJBアートフェスに合わせて、MIRAI Permataでも作ってみました? 行ったのはAngsanaのプリント屋さん。お兄ちゃんが一つ一つ手作業でイメージのゴロをプリントしていました！ こんな感じのやりとりが・・・・半分妄想?? お兄ちゃん：ボスが4時までに仕上げろってうるさいんだ まなみ：一つ一つて手作業なのね。大変ね。 お兄ちゃん：急がないと、、、話かけないでほしいな。 まなみ：手作業はいいけど、プリント位置ずれないようにね。 お兄ちゃん：黙ってみててよ〜 まなみ：あ〜。。。ずれないように！ まなみ：チョット、私やらせてみて。ここ揃えてさ！ お兄ちゃん：・・・・・・? という感じで仕上がったTシャツ?? 明日6日の?「立川志の春落語」?で、スタッフの目じるしに着る予定です。お待ちしています！
【Sultan Ismail Library———スルタンイスマイル図書館】 The first Sultan Ismail Library was opened in 1964 but it has moved to a now location, Jalan Datin Halimah, Larkin in 1988. The library, one of the oldest in town, spans three levels and holds varieties of languages which consists of English, Mandarin, Tamil and Malay. Free wifi is available once you became a member there. (RM7/year) It’s an old place though it is very quiet and peaceful especially in a morning. 以前から気になっていたこの建物。図書館と聞いてはいたが例の如くひとりでは心もとなく。。ローカルの友を連れてコテコテマレー語で詳細を聞いてもらった。つたない私のマレー語も使用する間もなくPachik(パチッ）は英語で返事をしてくれた。最新の雑誌も読める・見れるしwifiも使用可、PCとプリンターも有料で貸してくれます。ジョホール在住者なら誰でもメンバーになれるそうです。パスポートとそのコピー、顔写真持参ください。http://psi.elib.com.my/?lang=english
【Kota Tinggi Firefly Park ーコタティンギホタル鑑賞 】 Fireflies, locally-known as ‘Kunang Kunang’ in Bahasa, are perhaps Kota Tinggi’s biggest attraction. Emitting bright light from its abdomen, this bug tends to favour mangrove swamp areas. We took a night river cruise to view the natural firework show of Kunang Kunag along Johor River. The darkness and the silence of night which you won’t be able experience in a city life, the hundreds of tiny bugs were glowing in the dark but tend to gather around certain trees. What a fantastic view, it was!! 日暮れに合わせて到着したKota Tinggi Firefly Parkからは、ちょうど赤い夕陽が沈みかけていた。既に駐車場にはシンガポール車も含め数台の車が。。さすが祭日前夜は普段よりお客さまも多いようす。今回の殆どの参加者がホタル鑑賞初体験とあり皆さんワクワク感いっぱい！ 先に夕食を済ませ、８時過ぎにボート乗船。ゆっ〜くり進むボートのエンジン音だけが響き渡る闇夜のジョホール川にホタルのショーを待ってる観客者の私達に現れたものは。。。 ジョホール滞在中には是非一度は見ていただきたい、自然が織り成すまさにアートです！
